Our client, an innovative, market leading global Flavor & Ingredients group, is recruiting the newly created role of Innovation Manager / Research and Development Manager / Technical Manager focussed on Coffee based in Tampa, Florida. Reporting to a Global Innovation Leader, the Innovation Manager / R&D Manager will play a key role in coordinating all divisional application resources to support the development and execution of the category across the business.
The Innovation Manager / Research & Development Manager will be tasked with developing and driving a comprehensive product program that meets all requirements in line with business strategy and Global customer requirements. Key to the success of this role will be the management and development of teams (team of 3), their development and skill enhancement whilst working closely with colleagues across Sales, R&D and Marketing.
The Innovation Manager / R&D Manager / Technical Manager will be tasked with leading and managing multiple projects so experience of managing business and customer critical tasks is key, some of which include a high degree of flexibility across the US and Europe. You will support product development across its entire lifecycle from concept to completion as well as supporting existing category enhancement and new product lines. You will work closely with the manufacturing teams to define and ensure specific customer requirements are met for NPD whilst developing new process technology for improvements in existing products. Working closely with your R&D colleagues, you will continuously look to create new benchmarks to deliver customer solutions as well as continued review and re-formulation.
Candidates must have worked in the Beverage, Flavor or Ingredients sector only for a minimum of 5 years with demonstrable people leadership and development skills. Your background will include in depth sector expertise across innovation, development and applications processes in the beverage & food sector. Based in Tampa, Florida.
