Our client, a dynamic, international consumer goods group with an innovative brand and product range, is recruiting a Head of Human Resources for Europe, working initially for 2 days per week with the possibility for this to increase over time, potentially into a full-time role. Reporting to the General Manager Europe, you will be responsible for developing and implementing HR policies, processes and offering support across the European business in all aspects of HR.
Key responsibilities include: Review and administration of benefits and associated processes to ensure the business remains competitive; Leading the plan for training, development, annual reviews and goal setting; Supporting all aspects of the recruitment process, from identifying talent through to onboarding; Understanding and ensuring all legal obligations related to employees across a range of European locations are met; Liaising with Group Head Office to ensure consistency and to help define the ongoing HR requirement in the European business.
To apply, you must speak fluent German and English, and have working knowledge of German employment/ benefits legislation. Any experience of UK, Poland or Nordic countries would also be beneficial. You will have a proven record in developing and implementing HR processes and policies, preferably in an international group. Experience of working with a wide range of stakeholders and a hands-on approach are essential.
