Our client, a major international Ingredients & Colors group with an exceptional reputation and culture, is recruiting a Business Development Director (Product) to lead their European Product development.

Reporting into the Regional CEO and forming a key part of the divisional leadership team, the Business Development Director role will be responsible for driving product, commercial and business excellence across the region. The business is at an exciting phase of its evolution and this critical hire will be instrumental in driving growth in the Colors category. This high profile role requires an entrepreneurial Product and Commercial Director to support the 5 year strategy and drive the execution of the plan. You will across all categories to drive revenue streams. You will work closely with the Regional Sales teams having driven market insights for colours and an associated regional marketing plan.

It is critical that the successful candidate can demonstrate a deep expertise in the Colors / Ingredients industry where they have a won, managed and developed key accounts and driven exceptional business performance through Product leadership. You will have a strong Food science academic background with multiple years Colors/Ingredients experience. English and a 2nd/3rd European language would be a distinct advantage.
